Thank you for viewing my profile. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and have been working with clients since 1993. I earned my Masters of Arts degree from Santa Clara University in Counseling Psychology and hold a California MFT License (Number 36928). I enjoy working with individuals, couples and families. In addition, I have years of experience providing group trainings and am available for consultation and corporate trainings.
I am an interactive, solution-focused therapist. My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual to help build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
I am a Graduate of The Developmental Model of Couples Therapy Training under Ellyn Bader Ph.D. at The Couples Institute and utilize the theory and methods of the Couples Institute in my work with couples.
I am also EMDR trained effective 11/2016. While this is not the main focus of my practice, I am able to integrate EMDR into my work with clients who would benefit from this particular mode of treatment.
